Hello Everyone,

I am moving to Woodbridge, VA from Burbank, CA.
I do alot of crabbing and "bugging"(Lobster).
In CA, this is the best time for these activities up to March.

Any information on the VA scene, please??!!!

How ya doin and welcome to the east coast, most crabbers at this time of year are done. Im from jersey so i am not to sure about virginia, but the water temp is the most important thing when catching blue crabs, below 55 and they are usually gone

Just looked at where Woodbridge is..  Try searching the forum for info on the Patuxent River.  I think your are going to be more involved with MD crabbing than VA.  Either way, crabbing is done until the water get back up into the 50's next spring.
