I've caught huge Blue Crabs in Nantucket, but have never seen them anywhere else in Massachusetts.  Can you tell me where else they are caught in Massachusetts.  I am paraticularly interested in the South Shore area, from Hull to Plymouth.

Thanks.

I can't tell you the weight, but they were easily as large as the largest blue crabs I've ever seen in any crab house i've been to in Maryland.  These were caught in June.  The large ones are generally fished out by August.

We have had great success catching Blue Crabs in Wareham. In fact last year we started the season in early May. Due to the rain and cold we haven't started yet, I probably will go next week end.
As for size we have caught some pretty big crabs.
