wait ---lets do the math
3.5 BU's = about 140 crabs that size .
35-40 crabs a BU.
28 traps
about 20 min. to make a run.
2 hr's =about 5 runs.
28 X 5 = 140 pulles
or 1 crab in every trap every pull  Smiley
just maybe it could be done laugh laugh laugh laugh

35-40 crabs to bushel??? They would have to be 1+lbs to make a 40 lb bushel. Crabs like that are all about 8+" and rusty as a iron pipe. Get me some of those PLEASE Grin laugh laugh

YES but not like that. It takes about more crabs to make a bushel of Jumbos, unless you crab as a rec behind the boundary lines(the head of creeks) Don't get me wrong, guys like genecrabman and others that crab his neck of the woods get em'. Few years back they had crabs that would make the 9" mark but were only water hard crabs, so they ended up at the picking house. I hear Ga/SC is pumping out crabs like that right now Roll Eyes Grin
