this thread is total BS  can't be done, unless you call eating a crab pulling the backfin and throwing the rest away.

With the claws I get between 7 and 8 lbs. from a bushel of crabs.  No way I can eat 7 or 8 lbs of anything at one sitting.  Thats 5% of my total body weight.  I am not a huge eater but I would have to see someone pick a bushel of crabs in an hour yet alone eat them.  I think someone is exagerrating a whole lot here! Quote from amay:  "I can eat [dang] near 100 blue claws a hour. i eat a bushel of #1's in less than a hour on a daily basis. I hear about people winning conests eating 50 a hour and winning money from it. Does anyone know where i can enter a contest and if there are contests around this summer where i can make some money doing so? Thanks"

I haven't heard the term "cat" used to refer to someone since Sammy Davis, Jr. and the days of the "rat pack"  Wink    Beatniks also used the term........and I forget if Chong used "cat" or "dude"   .....     Cool   Like crazy man......

I cant pick that many in an hr. Now there is some difference in picking, if the crabs are good size and fresh you can and I do pick em down to the toe nails. If you throw away the legs and claws, suck out what ever ya can from the body half, then maybe, but you ain't pickin crabs then either.

I invited people to eat crabs, they don't pick the legs, they normally don't get ask back......
