6 hours, 1/2 bush. very heavy crabs,  only 2 throwbacks.

close to mouth of river. 6'-15' depth.  should be happening soon!

those look good....Tattoo, we ate the 20 that I caught in the Chester last night with some friends and their kids..it was my B-day and those 20 crabs, plus some corn and shrimp/veggie kabobs on the grill, fed 4 adults and 6 kids!! gotta love the good quality crabs even when they are scarce...I think in the next 2 weeks the action will heat up some once they come off the shed...I'll keep you posted if I get out anytime soon...we have a soccer tourney at PSU this weekend so I'm off the water until after the 29th....good luck if you go out.

NOPE!    all 100% heavy Jimmy!  the only female we saw was a little peeler sally. That and a small 4" male were the only throwbacks. Didnt catch any light crabs either.

All these crabs were getting ready to shed, they had the new shell starting to form underneath when you opened them. I think major shed in 1 1/2-2 weeks.
