I just  wanted to take a little time to say thanks to all of you  who take the time to post.  It has been extremely interesting and benficial to our small operation.  Usually I just lurk and read, but I wanted you all to know that you are making a difference.  MJ

We have a closed system and so far have 4 4 x 8 tanks.  We have had an interesting time of trial and error, but gee have we learned ALOT!  And really, this site has been a great resource.  One of my favorite tips was to watch washing your hands with anti=bacterial soap...to rinse well or suffer the consequences.  When my husband and I tossed the soft shell idea around last fall, we did not realize that you had to be half mad scientist.  MJ
