Out of curiosity do have to have some sort of license to use a hotel trap? also where can you purchase the hotel traps along with the license if need be?

     Go to Hunting and Fishing store and ask for the 2008 NJ Marine Fishing Digest.  This gives you the rules and regs. or go to the Rules and Reg. on this site.  The traps you are refering to are Chesapeake style crab pots.
