i know there are lots of aquarium topics but I'm moving the 28th and going too get an aquarium for the down stairs my mom is going too buy it all but i have too pay for the up keep. I'm cool with it, I'm going too get an undersized crab and put it one just one jimmy. (i know ill get allot of [curd] for it) but I'm currently looking for a 50 gallon aquarium is that too big for just one jimmy? if anyone knows of places that sell CHEEP aquarium we are going too get one after we move. along with the other hundred things i have too help do. anything important i should know too keep a crab? if i get the rocks too put on the bottom will the crab dig into them? also do they go dormant in the winter? my mom says they will look discusting when they molt? how long is the molting process? and last question where should i keep the filter tube so he doesn't destroy it. i could make a cage too put around the filter tube? and of course I'm going too call him jimmy   Grin. my mom is looking too spend around $50? i know pet smart and pet co sells 50 gallon aquarium's for like $300 but other places sell a whole lot cheaper. thanks for reading it all and i know i have allot of questions!

First if you just get the glass, you might need something to hold it together along the sides. Also a bottom usually helps keep the water in. And if you plan to get an undersized jimmy to put in it, wouldn't that be illegal? If they have a size limit of lets say 5", and you want one undersized, it would have to be under the legal size of 5". Isn;t that a violation of the law? Huh Huh
P>S......you will also need water for the tank, and a new Spealcheeker fur tha compoutar.
