i went out today and chicken necked. i had 9 lines going and i didn't catch anything (well something) i was relaxing most of the time in between. but i noticed the further line would get tight but nothing was ever on it. and another line was so tight i thought i could a 15inch crab! i had too really pull it was actually half of a fishing pole laugh  but no crabs today...

could anyone explain why my line kept going out but nothing was ever on it?

Maybe you were snagged on a Submarine?

Was the tide moving if so that could cause your bait to move.  Or it could be eels or a cat

no but really why is my lines being pulled out if no crabs are on it?

Who knows what EVIL lurks beyond the murky surface - was the neck chewed, then something was eating it - if the neck was not chewed, was grass on the line then most likely the water was washing it - was there paint and abrasion on the line, more then likely it was a submarine.
