Welcome to the BCA.  Try the search function using Potomac as the search word. I found a few posts about that area when I tried it.  Somebody will be along to help.  Wink Cool

Unless there is crabs that  fell overboard at the sell boats on the Wharf, no crabs there, usually crabs are found middle way and too the south, (middle on a few occasions) Try down near the Harry Nice Bridge(RT301)

Little known fact, summers that are extremely dry and the salt line extends up into the DC sector.  First time I realized it was while largemouth fishing I caught one that threw up a soft shell.  I was shocked.  This was in the Pentagon lagoon.  Don't know anyone that crabs in that area but they do make it up that far.  Farthest north that I have seen people crabbing was the mouth of Mattawoman creek.

I crabbed up to Mt Vernon the last few years...Right now I'm at Quantico averaging 15 bushel's every 3 days...After this cold front settles in, the crabs should be down by Colonial beach
