I was thinking about spending some time in CapeMay this August. Does anybody know of any good spots down there? Need to crab. it will affect my decesion to stay there.

There are some places to crab in cape may though they are limited. Your best bet is to talk to the local bait/fishing shops in the area. Now if your in cape may, you are not that far from the best crabbing in jersey(my personel opinion) you might want to check out dividing creek boat rentals and down by the creek boat rentals and also near by beaver dam boat rentals. beaver [dang] provides the best crabbing.  one of the few places where you can actually catch a bushel.    beaver has no motors but they tow you to the area

dont forget to search this site for dividing creek and maple creek ,   you can also launch you boat in dividing creek  happy crabbing!

Will you be crabbing from the bank or from a boat?  I grew up in Wildwood Crest (full time) & I can point you to both types of spots, including boat ramps.
