Has anyone crabbed chincoteage island .We take a family trip there in june im thinking of taking my traps this year looking for a good spot.Thanks for any info

Yup.  A couple times on the back side of the island.  Lots of females and not very many big ones, but you can catch a dozen or so an hour in June.  I caught 1/2 dozen on my fishing pole right in front of Memorial Park!  Suckers wouldn't let go!

Just put a chicken neck over anywhere you can, you will catch crabs.  City dock at the base of the bridge, Daisy's dockside, the causeway out to Assateague, Inlet View Campground... the crabs are everywhere.
