Recalled seeing mention in Al Ristori's column from the Star Ledger about a possible state record.  I e-mailed him and here was his response:



Lee: That crab was measured at Crabby's Tackle in Keyport, but I haven't heard anything from the state so far as to whether it's been accepted.

Simce this was reported from Keyport, my assumption is that it most likely came from Cheesequake, Matawan or Morgan Creeks.
