I have received conflicting information as to what makes a crab a "Mumbo".  Could someone please help clarify what is truly a Mumbo Crab?

My person definition- It's a big crab that's black or dark on the bottom. Size of a mumbo depends on the time of the year and how many crabs are being caught.  Wink

define Tall, Big, Small so it's small, when does tiny begin..............how huge it's all relative. To some it might be the 6"  crab is average, to any one from Weezy-ann-na that will be tiny.......

Mumbo - An especially large blue crab. Slang term coined by member Rick Hakun (a.k.a. kingcrabber.) The term is a combination of the words "massive" and "jumbo."

Isn't there one on the wall at the Wye that measures 9.75 or something near that. I know it is the largest I have ever seen.
