is there a glut of #1's on the east coast right now? here in louisiana they are starting to limit us on #1's cause they say they can't ship em. i hope this is temporary and the market picks up in a couple weeks. crabs will be starting to run about thanksgiving.

thanks for the info. we usually don't have any problems moving what we catch...but this year is ridiculous. had a buyer coming every monday, wednesday, and friday. he called sunday and said that he needed to drop the monday cause he could not ship. get a call tuesday and said he couldn't use any wednesday. i may have to find a new profession. i understand prices falling but just plain not buying is really bad.

Well, that's a shame!  I would love to buy some crabs when you are catching them!!  Bob is taking me out for one last crabbing session this weekend...temps went from 75 on Sat to NOW 62!  Ugh!  Sunday looks higher on the temp chart, but rain expected..oh, what to do.
