 If the state would just take whatever steps are needed to get a reliable count of just how many recs. and how many crabs are really being caught by them i think things would settle down alot. becuase md is a state where blue crabs are a great familyand social tradition  there is probably more rec. pressure on the crabs then any other state, witch i think causes most of the conflict. everyone in the state has a right to eat crabs some catch some buy and the main reason there's a problem is the condition of the bay and if that was fixed the problem would be loss of grant $ and jobs.
