I drove 2 hours to try crabbing for the 1st time this year, put boat in and first pull and the #@$% recoil broke.  Angry >:(Loaded boat and tried to find some local outboard shops for some help with no luck, everyone booked. did manage to talk to a fellow and he said he caught a half a bushel yesterday. Drove home made the repairs, maybe try again sunday. Cool Cool

ha at least you didnt get half way down the road and the trailer poppin off the hitch since the trailer joint  was just stiff enough to not sit all the way down on the ball, showed that my safety chains worked initially but did fail when the trailer slid a little under the suv... so put on new big ole safety chains, replaced the spark plugs and oil filter in the 4 yr old 25hp, and rehooked up and drove down the road and looked under trailer to make sure the trailer was hooked snug around the ball. so i am goin out tomorrow.
