I've crabbed all my life in VA, but all from piers and the shore.  Now I have a boat and would like to crab the Eliz. River.  I live in Great Bridge so I can be on the water in minutes.  I know the Jimmies are there, but I would like to have some advise on the best way to go about it in a boat.  Handline, trotline, or I can get a 5 pot rec license.  I would appreciate any tips you guys can provide.
