use one commerical type crab pot when your out using [curd] traps and let it soak and pick it up when your all finished?

is that legal in DE?

Yes, assuming you have a fishing license and a FIN#.    You may put out to two Maryland-style traps.

Better check the regs.  Your trap has to meet certain requirements.

Got to have your name, address, and be marked NC(non-commercial). Also they should not be placed in the channels this has been a problem this year. At least where I have been crabbing.
