...of disapointment that is!   Angry

Went out on the Bush River this morning to see what the crabbin' action was like. Tried a lot of my usual hotspots and worked the river from the mouth back relocating several times. I caught 10 crabs total and they didn't come easy. 3 were baby throw backs of the 3.5" variety, one nice big Sook throwback and the rest really nice Jimmies with the largest being 7 3/4". The crabs just aren't up here yet. Maybe it'll heat up in a few weeks, maybe not.

Lot of people were all over the river crabbing and everybody I talked to bombed as well. I watched quite a few pull up empty traps and not dippin' on trotlines. I actually did pretty well considering what other people were telling me at the ramp. One guy said he got 4 crabs all day, another said he got 5, and another said 10. I talked to a commercial guy who also told me the crabs are scarse on both the GP and the Bush even for them. Guess I will just have to hope the conditions change.

I steamed up some Maryland Silver Queen on top of that half dozen Jimmies and man they were packed and sweet. Nice yellow mustard too. Beautiful day on the water but I am wore out and it is time for a nice nap.
