79.5 degree water....This was one of my worst crabbing days ever...Crabbed in 4'-14' water..legal crabs were few and far between...My spot where I got most of my crabs this year was a bust... ???Kinda of bad tide and wind/dirty water??..Comm beside me left at 8am...He had enough.. Embarassed..We dropped approx 150-200 crabs back...all sizes..2"-4"Will be looking good in a few months if they stay around..there were equal amount of  females and males...about a dozen large sooks and 3 doublers.Hit lumps,drops,shoals,pilings......worked for 7 hrs. for these 41 crabs. Sad  At least they were heavy..Thats about the best part..Couple at 7" and 8". most were between 51/4"-61/2".

They're good looking Severn River crabs...

Does anyone else feel the way I do, thinking about crabbing much of the time,
always checking this forum, when is my next trip, checking the weather conditions,
where will I go far or near, who will I take on the next trip, should I take a day off from work.
Even though the crabbing is slow, I feel that I need to get back out on the water just in case it starts to pick up.

Any thoughts?

Yeah this forum keeps me awake through my nightshift job. I am getting antsy as my boat is in the shop. Cant wait to get back out there.

Each one of us here today will at one time in our lives look upon a loved one who is in need and ask the same question: We are willing to help, Lord, but what, if anything, is needed? For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don't know what part of ourselves to give or, more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted. And so it is those we live with and should know who elude us. But we can still love them - we can love completely without complete understanding.
