 who watched the new show on discovery last night called swords, on the line? this show is about longliners off the newengland coast. it will follow several different boats like deadliest catch did. there are 2 local boats, 1 from gene's home port,wachese nc and 1 from dover de. looks very interesting.

it was pretty awesome....esp. the huge tuna they harpooned !!  I thought most of the catch would have been dead...guess they dont show ya those fish.

LOL,all I have to do is catch the boat on the next trip but I would just as soon catch a gillnet full of catfish in the current,on a oyster bar with a 20 knt wind.

It was boring after the first show to me.

 thumbsup  The only reason I watched it was to see if I knew anyone or saw an old friend hiding from the law or wife, and fishing on the west coast.  LOL
