Went out Friday and did pretty good and was about to finish up and this, what had to be a real hungry guy, was in the next to last trap to be put away. And what has been very common around the Elk and Bohemia, he was without claws. Had to do a top and bottom photo to verify that it was a male as the tell claws would of shown. It's a real shame he did not have his claws as this surely would of been one to have Tat mount.

Just finished steaming and eating him. He was a little light and i can only guess that after he shed he was hard to camouflage himself completely because of his size and had a few attacks. Like I said, it's a shame he wasn't intact with all of his legs and claws.
But he sure did taste good, non the less.

It only looks like a 9 because of the camera angle. Put a speed square along the ruler, and then take the real measurement.
