   hit bay  ( barnegat )  yesterday at  8.30  wed the  16 th  Grin-  cloudy  and  no wind to speak of 
   water  dark  so no crabs  were visible  Cry  -  but canoed  back to the  honey  hole  for
     clams    had a limit  150  by  10.30   laugh did a little  exploring for  new  areas  Lips Sealed - it  started  to rain 
      about  11   than the  WIND  BLEW  AND THE S---T  FLEW 10 -20  knots  out of the ne  Shocked  it got  to rough to paddle  so i had to walk     back in   Tongue Tongue  the  rain was stinging   like  hale  but  i had a  good  day  Smiley Smiley   im  going to try again sat  am

Hey OC

  That happen to me a couple of weeks back .. I had the kayak out back of Ocean City, Nj .. day started out nice .. then that wind started kicking .. I could not paddle to my traps it was that bad .. I called it a day ..


Glad you got some clams ..  I am heading down Friday .. to do some clamming and crabbing from the kayak .. I will report ..

I miss clamming so much...maybe next year!  Enjoy!  That's the hard part about taking a kayak out...the weather can change in a minute out on the water!
