As in how many months? When will the crabs start going away? I'm planning on getting 28 crab traps real soon, and I donít want to wait until next season.

I have to sell it because I just don't use it, and I wont be using It because I'm trying to get a job to buy a bigger boat, and I will be using that not my kayak. I just havenít wanted to kayak. I am buying 28 topless crab traps and starting a bank account with the money...

buy them now and you will have all winter to get them ready for next year!  as far as longer line - it better be about 600 miles long - the crabs are packing their bags and heading south!

I have no problem boating in the cold; I dragged my older brother on my 12' Jon boat on South River late October last year with a half a gallon of fuel left. It was fun. Just pack two extra socks and I'm ready to go. My only concern is that it gets rougher in when itís colder. Plus side no more jet skis.
