[ACFISHERIES]

bear hunting with hounds is 10 percent hunting bear and 90 percent hunting dogs .i hunted with a fellow that had the gps system for his curs and it works great ,it really cuts down on the amount of running around and trying to triangulate the dogs.some of the chases we go on have been as much as 9 mile or more across country .

Can't hunt bears here but we do hunt deer and hogs with dogs. deer dogs are beagle and walkers or a mix of the two. Ain't nothing like a good race. Most hog dogs consist of a couple of bay dogs(hound/cur) and a catch dog(pit/cur). most catch dogs don't live a very long life.

Looks like FEAR in that dogs eyes!!! Fear that it might miss that treat your holding! (I know that look well)

None of my dogs has ever had a treat.  They don't get anything but their food bowl once a day.   CBR's stare at you all day long.  It actually causes some dogs to get turned in.   Some folks can not take the staring...

I had 2 GSs in my lifetime,  they didn't stare like CBRs do...  They don't stare all the time tho... Only when they are awake.
