Need your opinions . should make the same kind of award for this years contest . The only difference would be the year and of course the name of the person who wins , unless the same person wins again  Grin OR should i design a different one Huh?  Thanks , Rich

Could you give us a group of choices to pick from ? You have some great mounts on your site but I am pretty sure you would want to keep it pretty simple to keep the cost down.

Figured that. Question is, Can you give us a few of your ideas for this years trophy design that we could choose from. If not, last years design was good.

I like last year's award.  Maybe add: "BCA" in the title, the year and the BCA screen name on the name plaque since this is a BCA contest?

pardon my ignorance, but can a crab be frozen uncooked before it is sent to you for mounting?  i ask because if it is possible i'd definitely send you my winning crab to be mounted as the prize (prize money would go towards the costs incurred). i think that'd be pretty cool.  granted, if it's not possible to freeze them, this is a moot point.

They freeze.

Tattoo gave me instructions on how to freeze the crab we sent to be mounted , and to make sure he's just tucked up tight. Then you overnight the critter to him and he makes magic!

I was perplexed as to how that whole process happened myself. Though having never caught one of the stature and size needed for mounting, I never pursued it. I was afraid I'd have to pack the guy a lunch and send him on his way to Tat's walking all the way to NJ. He'd have to pass through Phila., and I'd be like an overbearing parent sending their first born off to college. Worried the whole way. I will definitely work on getting a larger specimen this year.
