You got one bigger ?
What's that got to do with incorrect measuring?

Hi Breeze, the crab is nine on the nose. I will save him and if anyone wants to check him they are welcome to. I also caught one 8 and 7/8 inches the same day. Nine inch might not win the contest, looks like there are some big ones out there. Bill

In the pic with the newspaper, it is bent but that is mainly to show the date. If you look at the second pic, the tape says 9, if you look at the newspaper pic, its about 9 1/4

Not to be a party pooper but even though that is a big crab....it's not being measured correctly
......look at the tape measure...it goes across the shell ....that is not how a crab is official measured...sorry.
I do not doubt that it's 9 inches but Shack is correct ->

Way to go Bill, great crab. I agree, looks like an even 9" to me. You certainly set the bar high for the first entry of the year!!!!
You should get him mounted.

Great looking crab. Don't forget this year has a second and third place too. A 9" may win but everyone should still submit their biggest.

It does? I thought that hadn't been decided. I don't really care, and even though Bill has a 9, I'm gonna win, and if its 1st, 2nd and 3rd, I'm gonna win em all.
