I am thinking of taking my son here instead of Green st. Last 2 times there we got skunked... Lots of seaweed. I am open to any ideas. I would like for him not to get discouraged. I don't want him to have 3 strikes in a row. he is 11 years old. Thank you in advance.

Go to Berkely Island Park instead. Very user friendly with a beach and playground for the kiddies.

Try Dock Outfitters.  The crabbing is great there for kids.  They'll pull a ton of undersized ones.  I was there twice this season.  Each time I saw some kids having a ball.  It was normal to pull about 300-400 crabs with maybe 2 dozen keepers.  Not the best for eating since they're rarely full of meat  Roll Eyes
