they will go after them that has been my experience with them

?? Don't ya remember th Belford Pirate/Blackfish Scandal a few years back? The guy was logging 3-4 thousand pounds of tog in his books while setting the illegal pots right around the MP Station Point Pleasant. He was doing this for months. Blackfish traps=one mile offshore minimum, repeat, offshore only. No estuary, bay or riverine traps. I'd agree with the clammyman, call the MP, but they watched this operation for a long time before the Fishy police busted them, again, in front of their station on the canal where they could see that big boat every night, emptying illegal blackfish traps. Little guys were the specialty, bring big yen in NYC for live tanks. Call in the MP for a couple of crab pots might bring a few laughs around the station, especially with all the juicy boat inspections waiting on them every day.
