Hello All,

I have a little 14 foot with a 10 horse motor and I'm looking for some new spots to crab.  Any info on little known, out of the way ramp that puts you close to good crabbing would be greatly appreciated.

South Jersey is a big place, narrow it down a little.

With a boat that size you really don't need a ramp.  I can launch my 16ft jetboat under/beside most bridges with little problems.  I'm towing with a front wheel drive mini-van, so it is not like i'm driving a big 4x4 or suv.

Sea Isle/Whale Beach has a free ramp or two, but I don't think crabbing has been all that great.

Good Luck

Al

I come in from Quakertown so I'm fairly mobile.  I have a 4X4 pickup and the boat's on a trailer.  Any creeks leading into the DE bay would be good or south of AC.  I do crab Dividing creek and Hansey Creek but the past few years there have been slow.

Thanks

jakes landing in dennisville, free ramp and you can get to the delaware bay from there. you'll be launching into dennis creek. it's a deep creek but be careful if ya wander up any side creeks because they're full of stumps and ya dont want to get stuck up one of them. half tide and up you're good. jakes landing road is right off rt. 47 in dennisville in cape may county.
