My first time poster, long time reader of this board.

I normally crab either on LBI, outside of Cape May off Shell Bay ave, Dividing Creek or once and a while in Rio Grande.

I am looking to go out this Saturday but most of those places I listed are at least an hour and 20 to an hour and 40. People have told me that Ocean City NJ is the closest "beach" to Philly, is that true and are there any spots there or anywhere "close to philly".

Mind you I do not have a boat and don't plan on renting one this weekend.

Any help at all would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!

Corbin City Fish & Game Preserve, Gibson's Creek Road between Mays Landing & Corbin City off Rt 50.  There are lots of places to stop along the road to crab.  Both creeks & the pond have crabs.  Good luck.

I've never driven that far down in NJ to crab.  If you feel like going as far as the parkway from the AC Expressway, as soon as you see water from there down, there's crabs.  Pull over to the first spot you think you can walk to.  As long as the creek you're at is at least 20 feet wide, you'll be fine.

When? The day of the assault?  I paid for it when I stuck the bottom of the boat in the mud. I gotta get another depth finder!!!!
