It is time to bring the crab traps to the hill and get out the castnet. I caught some really big shrimp this past weekend in Sapelo Sound. I cuaght these jumbos in about 10-20 feet of water at as the low tide ebbed. I will crabs some more in October when Georgia Blue crabs put on the "pounds" for the winter. Hey! It is shrimping and fishing time on Georgia's beautiful coast. Don't worry Maryland. Georgia crabbers will continue to ship blue crabs to Maryland crab houses.
