I heard somewhere the other day that starting next year, you wont be able to use chicken as bait for blue crab in NY/hudson river. Is this true?

thats what i thought. the guy that told me said it was because suposedly the chicken people would through into the river when done, some how wasnt good for it. Which dosent make sence because it would just get eaten/decay....

I got checked because I was using bunker by some DEC Pr-ck and he asked me if I had a receipt for the bunker? I said I purchased it in NJ. Whats with NY, over regulating the regs?
