Brother got the 7 point. I got the spike. Both heavy for this time of year and especially for the pines. My brother has been hunting for 25 years and this is the first "real horns" he's ever harvested. he's pretty excited.

Good luck everyone. pumpkin

Yumm, venison and habeneros. Nice looking deer there BDC. I'm still waiting for a set of horns. Kind of hard when you only get one or two days a year to go.

Good job! I got 4 does so far. I don't really shoot bucks anymore unless they are big. Always great to get your first set of horns.

I do think bucks taste better than does though if you get them before the rut! Any deer with a bow is a trophy. Makes you feel good when you walk up to a deer you took quick and clean with a well placed arrow!

I am sure it will be the first of many nice bucks.
