February crabbing in georgia

With a few breaks in the weather we have caught a few crabs. One day we had around 500 lbs with about 60% males. I have reports of big catches in S. Carolina with most being females. Offshore still until water temp warms up. I work near Savannah and have a couple of boats. Most still not crabbing until water temp. rises and the weather stabilizes.......

Thanks....Our catches are picking up and we can go about 4 times a week, depending on the tide and amount of days with sunshine. We have a 6 to 9 foot tide here so a lot depends on our moon stage. Of course prices are up to record levels....
