Hi.  I'm coming to the outer banks in august and I want to buy some crab traps before I come...When do the new regulations come out?  I don't want to buy ring traps and then have the new regulations tell me the diameter is too large.  Thanks

Havent seen any new regs or rules...BUT that doesnt mean DMF can't impose or make a procalmation at any given time. But as it stands no changes and all rules can be found at  http://www.ncfisheries.net/


and or  http://www.ncwildlife.org/  for inland waters
