Hi Everyone...just moved permanently into Palm Bay 5 months ago from Delaware. Just found your site looking for info on how the crabbing is down here and where to go. I read on a thread that there is a link on this site pertaining to crab locations. Haven't seen it yet so I'll keep looking. I love it down here so far!!  I went crabbing a few days ago off of Rt 520 and caught nothing but blowfish. When does the crabbing season here start?

Welcome to the site! The water is a little cool yet for the crabs to be moving much.

Check out the Florida regulations under rules and regsulations.. I don't believe there is a closed season for crabs.

The big one is that there is a five trap maximum and the traps must be marked with your information.
