I left the ones too big for the box traps.  Actually we did have one big one break a trap and get away.  There is no crying in crabbing.  Thanks again for the help.  This crabbing stuff is great.  I think I'll  settle in for a few more Jimmies and a couple cold ones.  My god they are some good ones....

Hello

This is Kato from Pa. I've been crabbing at the Wye for about  20 years. Haven't been down this year yet. I'm lucky if I get down once a year. Has anyone been crabbing by the wooden bridge about a mile or so from Schnaitmans

Vonnies DOES NOT open that early, well at least the sporting goods store does not.  But you can call down there the night before and give them your credit card number so you can purchase the talbot county permit and they will leave the permit in their mailbox with your name on it.  The sporting goods side opens around 6am.  I called last week.  Just didnt want anybody to be waiting for 2 hours.
i was just wondering ifn anyone has this phone# and i want too make my first trip to the wye,i just am not sure how to get there, ill be comming from PA down 97/50. is the turn off before the bay bridge. my son and i have been going to the severn but my wife is on call this weekend so she will have enuff hours in to be able to take off early next tue/thur and wants to go along so i believe her me 7 and 3 yr old wiould love to try there. thanks.
