Here's the downside to that remedy...

Didn't say it was fool proof, ya gotta watch your six. Those kitty rats are always gunning for something.

:)worked for me too. Heavy dose of 50 spf cream.
My son and I were bluefishing on the Sea Devil out of PPB a few weeks back. We were a mile or so off of the Spring Lake and other nearby beaches when the boat was literally attached by greenheads. This was off of an area that has hardly any left due to development. My son was the only one not to get bit and he had put on some common sun block. I don't use it but decided to try as the buggers were torturing me. No bites afterwards, but I've never heard of that being used and it never worked that way at Island Beach SP. Worth a try through.

Catnip leaves crushed and rubbed on seems to lighten the attacks from greenheads.  Better than DEET for mosquitoes. I've got it growing around the fences in back and the little bastages leave me alone as they hate the smell.

Each one of us here today will at one time in our lives look upon a loved one who is in need and ask the same question: We are willing to help, Lord, but what, if anything, is needed? For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don't know what part of ourselves to give or, more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted. And so it is those we live with and should know who elude us. But we can still love them - we can love completely without complete understanding.
