Safety Course

Hello All,
Wanted to let everyone know that I completed and passed the new Boaters Safety Course requirement on Saturday...with a 96%. Should be ready to be in the water by the 20th but probably won't be able to make the first trip until the 27th. Boat (16' v-hull aluminum fisher with a 30hsp) is going to my mechanic this weekend. General service on the motor....trailer needs to be stripped and re-painted/sealed and probably re-wired. Need to get lights put on and all that good stuff that I learned you must have on your boat on Saturday. I'm really getting antsy and can't wait to get out there. good crabbing to all.

This was the required safety course that was just passed by nj legislature. I fell into the first age group, which meant i needed to have it completed by June 1, 2006. It was a nine hour day. However, It was helpful for me. I've only had my boat for 5 years now, so it was enlightening. I need to have some things done to the "Little Orca" before I get in the water.
