Trotline license

Hi All,
       Does anybody know where to or how to obtain a trotline license for new jersey?  I know the regs, just dont know how to get the license.   I will be in the strathmere area so if anyplace in that area has them, that would be really cool.     Thanks for any help you can provide.

Oboy I think I broke the law last week! I am brand new to this site and can't believe what I just read! I was out of Wildwood in Grassy Sounds last week using a trotline without a license. What does the license cost? I also asked a fish and game officer last year and he said nothing to me about a license, only that the line could not be more than 125Ft. ( strike two), Somebody please reply or I'm gonna have to throw myself to the mercy of the courts. Only joking, now for the good stuff. We caught about 4-1/2 Doz. legal crabs ( most were 41/2" only a couple over five")

Non Commercial License is $2, Trot lines cannot exceed 150' or 25 baits, no more than 2 commercial crab pots.

NJ regs don't say much about trotlines , how many can you have per licensed person?  I think it's 2.  Now if there are 2 licensed persons in a boat is it 2 each or 2 total?

One non res. crab license= 2 trotlines @150' or 2 crab pots (hotels) so two licensed persons =4 lines or 4 pots Lines limited to 25 baits or less. Pots must have license # on float.... also..trotline measurement may not exceed 150' total  this includes anchor and float lines   ...( 150 ft. total lenth inclusive end to end..) this by phone from NJ fish and wildlife Capt. last week "BUT!!!! any amount of collapseable traps (no limit) may be used as long as they are being attended by user, from boat or shore Does the number 30 or more ring a bell

So, if I understand you right, 2 licensed crabbers in a boat can have 2 - 150' trotlines, 2 pots (with license number on floats) and unlimitied traps with floats?
