you used a rake for the clams or your feet? i bought a rake and tried to rake and threw it out because it did not dig into the ground at all! i was at the double creek channel in the sand.

i  use  a rake - don't  what  kind  of  rake  you  had  but  there  are pieces  of  s----t
for  sale  - i got  mine  from the ribb  co  in  mass -  just  the  head  and  put  my  own handle  on it      my  daughter  does not  like  to  rake  but    she does the  clam town  shuffle   and  get  her  share  of  clams
                                                  oc

my  daughter  and  i  have  been  clammin  and  crabbin for what  seems  like for ever  - way  before  i  got  a canoe   - we  walked into  a  lot  of  areas  to  clam  that  were  tough  to  get to  but  she never
said  no she  would   not  go  with  me  -  she has  aways been  my  number one  crabbin and  clammin  partner    time  to stop
