Whats crazy is there have been many times where I was real tired after being on the water all day, and thought of having some one steam them, but the thought of some one switching my crabs kept me from doing it. Sorry for your bad luck.

That stinks! Personally I  steam my own, I figgure Im  waiting on them at my house or at the place there seaming em at  Undecided.
1 beer a good shot of vinegar, water up to basket and lots of #2 jo"s then 35 min over a hard steam. Then I have 35 min to see how many bud lights I can drink. Better luck next time.

I guess the only cure to this is to steam them myself.

That's not the only cure, but it's a guaranteed cure.
