Went to Thompson again today. After yesterdays stellar catch I was hoping for a repeat but it didnt happen. Dropped 29 traps baited with chicken and cut alewive in the exact same spot as yesterday. In 4 hours we only managed 7 crabs 6-7 inches, no tossbacks. Another guy was setting traps up from us and we left he only had 4. This will be my last trip of the season, gonna concentrate on big rockfish.

We caught about 5 1/2 dozen in Warehouse Creek today (10/25) in about 4 hours. Fat crabs, but nothing over 7 inches. I be done for the year.

Tell ya what, I will bait the traps, set them, bring you the boat and then fire up the steamer. You run the traps and bring me the crabs (only 8+'s though laugh laugh laugh) and after you refuel the boat and scrub it down we will eat crabs and drink your beer (didnt I tell you teo bring the beer??) laugh laugh

Well I guess we will have to wait until spring to run into each other again at the "spot" laugh laugh laugh. Have a great winter.
