Thats a [Sam Hill] of an effort, and nice to see such dedication.  Ghost pots seem to a real issue, with no real good way to get them back.  These people are down in the water fishing them out... that is awesome.

How else could you get them back?  Tow a bunch of grappling hooks around?

Dewd, I don't use crab "pots" like that article is talking about. They are calling crab pots, crab traps. To me a crab trap is the ring, pryamid, box or topless things like I use. However, before I got the topless traps I lost a couple ring traps because the crab was so heavy it broke the line. After I started using 1/2 inch, 100lb test line I haven't lost a single trap. Grin Grin
