I was thinking the same thing, that's one [Sam Hill] of a large crab.  If it was a female she must have been 8 inches as a sally to get that big

if she is that big i want the jimmy that was protecting her when she was getting ready to shed . looks like a jimmy tho . all the females i catch has red claws .

The most amazing thing is one of our 10" crabs from Lousyana swam all the way to Carolina Wink.  Awesome catch, congrats.  Please post photo of mount when done.
