After a long weekend last week cleaning up storm damage, i finally got out. What a beautiful morning! It was cloudy, cool, calm with a little light rain. I hit my regular pier spot around 0700 with 15 handlines baited with CN. The crabbing was hot soon as the chicken hit the bottom. Still lots of little crabs and tons of BIG papershells. I probably tossed back 2 dozen 6 to 7.5 inch papershells. I did manage 5 doublers that were between 6 and 7.5 and as you all know FAT. I rolled out around 0900 with a dozen real nice crabs for lunch. I could have picked up more but that's all i need for myself. Seems the really shallow area did best for me today. Oh and the comms i could see were dipping hard. Here's some pic.. Have a good one.

Nice job CW!!! I was also in the Alley yesterday and the comms that I talked to weren't doing so gd a lot of them are dipping so that they keep the millions of little crabs (which was all I was catching)off their lines. One of the comms said he had a buddy who had a very good day Wye on Friday and caught twelve and a half bushels up a creek where he could only see one other crabber..... But he also worked for legal time till 330 .... WYE TIMEEE!!!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
