How about this I'm thinking that there isn"t to much water transfer from one bay to the other. Some times the tides both high and low are pretty close together . Then other times a couple of hours. I don't think that the water from one or the other would be able to travel that distance in that short a time period. Any one else have a oppinion on that?
the current in the canal can get as high as 4 or 5 kts. That's a lot of water moving.

They dry pretty quick or you can whipe them off with a dry towel.
