Here's few pics from this year's crawfish season. We fish crabs and a variety of fish but crawfish is king in S. LA.

Yes sir. This year they were unusually common. We catch harmless watersnakes very often, but cottonmouths are usually a rarity. I believe the most I caught in one day was 8 (6 alive, 2 dead)

See below - can't mistake that arrow-shaped head!

Yea I thought by the body shape - very stocky for the length Wink The head looked it also but not as clearly as the body - I thought the pits where just visible.
